"This event evolved from an idea I had about doing mels, I decided to make it much grander...
Imagine if you will a world cup of peerless runs.
How will this work, each guild in the alliance that wants to participate will "sponsor" a team. The teams will then do all the peerless 1 time. The teams will be timed on thier runs and points will be awarded for the order they finish.
A set member number will be assigned for each peerless (I'm thinking 5) teams that take less members in to the peerless will get bonus points, teams that take more than the target number will get points deducted.
After all the peerless are done, the team with the most points will win.
Teams: Teams will consist of no more than 10 members total. members may use any char they have even ones not in the guild team they are on. All characters from team member they wish to use, must be submitted to the judges. So that they know that char is on the team. members can swap out char's during peerless by announcing it to the judge. (this is so that the judges will know for bonus/neg points) So a member from team TAA may use a tdw or ugk or MT char but it will still be on the TAA team for instance, they may swap between char's during a peerless run without it adding to the total char's in the peerless for points purposes.
Peerless Timing: The peerless must be done start to finish from gathering key's through the kill. (you cannot gather key's ahead of time like for mel)
The team's will start at a central location, and time will end when all members return to the central location and give the judge the rare ingredient from the kill. Teams abandoning peerless will receive the max time (2 hours) wich a peerless is given to complete by OSI.
Judges: Each team will be accompanied by a Neutral judge the neutral judge will observe only to verify the kill, and time the team. Judges will be partied unless all 10 members enter the peerless in wich case they will go solo (and must be provided with a key by the team) Judges will not rez, heal, cure or otherwise interfere in the teams run.
Points: Points will be awarded depending on number of teams if 4 teams compete there will be 4pts for the fastest. 1pt for the slowest. Bonus points will be awarded for doing the peerless with less than the "target" number, points will be deducted for using more than the target number of members. Example: target number is 5 members, TAA team takes 6 members and come in 1st place in time. they receive 3 pts (4 for fastest out of 4 teams -1 for using more members than the target number) max negative will be 2 pts for over max bonus will be 2 pts for using less.
breakdown will be as follows for bonus pts. 1-2 members over -1 pt, 3-5 will be -2 pts. 1 members less will be +1 pts 2-3 members less will be +2 pts.
Spoils/rewards: There will be a statue created by TAA titled the The Astaries Cup. This will be awarded to the top team, and kept at the alliance hall on MI for all to see. Furthermore the top team will receive all the rare ingredients collected to be divided up between thier team members. As well as the glory of being the Adeptus Cup Peerless Champs.
